Media Talking Points:
  • Why do you call Praying Through Hard Times your boomerang book?
  • How did you become a prayer expert regarding troubled times?
  • In the book, you tell the story of how you froze with fear on a zipline platform. What prayer set you free to soar?
  • What is the body bag prayer? How has God used it to transform countless lives?
  • How is God’s love for us like the time your exhausted five-year-old son collapsed in the mall?
  • How can a gift hidden in tattered paper be like the treasure you find in a difficult situation?
  • Share how you discover that joy can be achieved despite difficult circumstances.
  • Marcia was terrified of her mother-in-law, who used Marcia’s fear as a way to control her, that is until Marcia learned a simple prayer. Can you teach us that prayer?
  • You share how God showed you how you appear to the enemy. What did He show you and what does it mean?
  • You tell the story about a woman who planned to take her life until she heard you explain how she could give her burdens to God? Can you tell us how to do that?

In June 2025 the Ministry of Tourism of Israel chose Karen as one of four Christian
authors to take on a special tour of the Holy Land. This expanded her research in a
real way during the writing process of an archeology book for kids (Digging Deep
releases in 2026 with Tyndale Faith and Kids). She writes to equip parents and
children to grow their faith and family bonds. The trip included visiting an
archeological not open to the public with an amazing disco=very regarding Peter.
As she headed home the IDF rescued 4 of the captures from October 7th. Karen also
had the opportunity to connect with a few moms of young adults who served in the
IDF and will be serving soon. As a military mom with an AF son who served in Iraq,
these mom connected and wanted to talk about their own fears, as the safety of their
children is a universal bond.
In tumultuous days, Karen seeks to help people replace stress, anger, and anxiety with
peace and joy. Her books Growing a Peaceful Heart and Growing a Joyful Heart share
how we can maintain inner peace in all circumstances. As wars continues and political
angst continue, let Karen share how to respond as Christians.

As a former TV host, guest on more than 100 media outlets, international speaker, and
author of thirty-four books, Karen loves to let creativity splash on the pages she writes
and touch heart of listeners and viewers. Her anecdotes from life, creative solutions,
and practical tips provide audiences with laughter and doable steps to grow their
hearts. Her unique hands-on activities for kids and their families reinforce the
messages she shares.

Karen is an experienced survivor of natural disasters that includes category four
hurricanes, four lightning strikes to multiple homes, an earthquake, a derecho
(sideways hurricane), and spontaneous combustible fires in homes all around the
country. She's also a military widow, mother of five including two rocket scientist
sons (and one recently widowed who is herself a mom of five homeschoolers), and a
grandmother. She understands the unexpected and sometimes unwelcome surprises in
life as well as the joys of family.

Karen enjoys adventure like camel riding in the Canary Islands, white water rafting in
Australia, and scuba diving off Bermuda’s coast, and travel, especially to
archeological sites.

Lorraine Larzabal

Lorraine Larzabal’s journey reflects her unwavering faith and passion in helping thousands of individuals encounter God in transformative ways. For over three decades, she has guided individuals to discern how the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit communicate, facilitating profound dialogues with each of Them. These experiences and methods are captured in her book, "The Declarations."

Lorraine is a worshiper, evangelist, missionary, entrepreneur, and Biblical Studies graduate with expertise in the Inductive Bible Study Method. Her focus is on the names, activities, roles, and attributes of the Holy Trinity.

She trains others in using personalized Scripture to triumph over life’s significant challenges, including overcoming cancer twice herself. Lorraine can approach anyone, anywhere, and ask them if they're open to experiencing God's love or His healing power. Before you know it, they’re having an encounter with Jesus! Discover these encounters for yourself in “The Declarations.”

MEDIA TALKING POINTS

  • Your book has over 800 personalized Scriptures categorized into 4 chapters for each member of the Trinity: Who They are, What They do, Who They are to us, and What They do in us, for us, and through us. Why this structure?
  • What inspired the shift from the common “I am” affirmations focused on personal identity to crafting “You are” declarations directed towards God.
  • Because Christians often dismiss God's voice, believing it to be their own thoughts, what preparation helps us hear Him clearly when we ask Him a question?
  • What does the Lord want to tell you after you tell Him who He is?
  • Why is speaking Scripture aloud better than reading them silently?
  • Why does rephrasing Bible verses into the present tense enhance their relational impact?
  • How did the “10 Steps to a Divine Encounter” originate and what experiences are people having?
  • What happened when you distributed Bibles and tracts in a communist country?

Through her award-winning book, Can You See Me, Now? Good News for the Lonely, Left Out, and Less ThanCheri helps women move from feeling invisible to spiritually invincible.
In a world where social media and constant digital connection should bring people together, many women still struggle with isolation and loneliness. Through Scripture, engaging stories, and practical steps, Cheri equips women to:

  • Counter the nay-sayers who prefer they remain quiet.
  • Kiss goodbye to the old tendencies to blend into the wallpaper.
  • Start living as the woman God created them to be.
In Can You See Me, Now? Good News for the Lonely, Left Out, and Less Than, Cheri takes readers on a 75-day journey to overcome loneliness, build authentic connections, and break free from invisibility.
